State Leadership & Skills Conference

The State Leadership and Skills Conference (SLSC) is SkillsUSA Washington’s flagship event, bringing together students, advisors, and industry partners statewide. Participants showcase their talents in leadership and technical skills competitions, with top winners earning the honor of representing Washington at the SkillsUSA National Leadership and Skills Conference. This inspiring event concludes with an awards ceremony celebrating the hard work and achievements of all participants.

SLSC Registration for students and advisors opens on February 7, 2025, and closes on February 19, 2025.

The SkillsUSA Washington SLSC Draft is the official selection process for assigning competitors to their events at SLSC. Based on regional participation and event capacity, the draft ensures a fair and organized competition experience while recognizing top career and technical education students.
