Competition Details

Evaluates a competitor's ability to perform procedures or take appropriate action based on scenarios presented related to CPR (Adult/AED, 2-man system, child and infant CPR) first aid medical emergencies. There is also a written exam. All skills are judged on nationally accepted standards identified by The American Red Cross, The American Heart Association, The American Safety and Health Institute and The National Safety Council.

Technical Standards

The career competitions of the SkillsUSA Washington Championships follow the current edition of the SkillsUSA Technical Standards. These are available to professional members (advisors and teachers) as a membership benefit following their submission of membership.

Membership Dues

  • Mandatory for student and advisor. Deadline December 20 or before competitions.
  • $ 20.00 Per Student & $ 30.00 Per Adviser. One Time payment Per School Year Membership.
