Here are directions for nominating an advisor from each region for SkillsUSA Washington Advisor of the Year:
Step #1 Nominate a deserving advisor in your region. Many advisors have put in countless hours in support of SkillsUSA. Some have donated time and resources to their own chapter, while others have put in hours, days and weeks hosting technical or regional contests. Show them your thanks by nominating them.
Step #2 Complete the nomination form, narrative, and accomplishments.
Step #3 Obtain one to three letters of support for the nomination.
Step #4 Submit the nomination form, narrative, accomplishments, and letter(s) of support to SkillsUSA Washington. The nomination package may be submitted by mail to: SkillsUSA Washington, P.O. Step #5 A SkillsUSA Washington Leadership Committee will review the nomination packages, score the content, and select the Advisor of the Year from each region.
Step #6 The five (5) regional finalists will be recognized at the SkillsUSA Washington Leadership & Skills Conference April 19-April 21, 2018 in Yakima, Washington.
Step#7 From the five (5) Regional Advisors of the Year the SkillsUSA Washington Advisor of the Year will be announced and recognized.
