Competition Details

The competition is open to active SkillsUSA members enrolled in programs with Cyber Security, Information Security, or Systems and Networking Security Architecture. Students will be tested on the elements of the NIST Publication 800-181 Cybersecurity Workforce Framework categories including Securely Provision, Operate and Maintain, and Protect and Defend.

Technical Standards

The career competitions of the SkillsUSA Washington Championships follow the current edition of the SkillsUSA Technical Standards. These are available to professional members (advisors and teachers) as a membership benefit following their submission of membership.

Membership Dues

  • Mandatory for student and advisor. Deadline December 20 or before competitions.
  • $ 20.00 Per Student & $ 30.00 Per Adviser. One Time payment Per School Year Membership.
